Our clients have asked whether ordinary gauze can replace insect nets?
the answer is negative.
The insect-proof net is used to prevent insects, and the number of meshes is generally above 40 mesh to prevent small-sized pests such as whitefly and thrips that transmit viral diseases, and it is more effective against large-sized pests.
The service life of the insect net is about 3-5 years. The ordinary gauze has a large aperture, the mesh number is below 20 mesh, and the anti-insect requirement is not achieved, and the aging resistance is not as good as the insect net. Therefore, prevention of small pests should be based on insect nets rather than ordinary gauze.
It should also be noted that the insect pests in the shed have not yet been introduced, and the insect net should be set in advance.
In the place where the ventilating vents, doorways, etc., which are connected to the outside, can be covered with a layer of insect-proof net, the purpose of isolating the shed can be achieved.
Before the mesh is isolated, the weeds, dead branches and residual leaves in the shed are removed, and the spray is combined to remove the pests in the shed.
The mesh size used should be determined according to the specific conditions. It is too dense and unfavorable for ventilation and cooling. If it is too sparse, the insects will easily enter and will not be able to prevent insects.
In general, a 40-60 mesh white insect net is preferred.
